Delicious and easy to make cheesy bread!
What you need for cheesy bread
Cheesy bread is so easy to make and doesn’t need many ingredients unless you want to make them richer.
They are perfect for breakfast or a snack for when I am doing a workout.
- Yogurt
- Baking Soda
- Oil
- Feta Cheese
- Cheddar Cheese
- optional – you can add anything you like (I have done it with cooked mincemeat and leek, and feta cheese)
- Flour (white or whole wheat flour)
- Salt
- Butter
This is all you need, and it is straightforward and easy to make. I have done it so many times for breakfast. Depending on your products you can add what you like to the cheesy bread. There was that time I made them with feta cheese, cooked mincemeat, and cooked leek ( this would totally change their name but hey they were very delicious).

- Crush the feta cheese with a fork and grate the cheddar cheese (use the rough side of the grater).
- In a bowl add the yogurt and soda, stir until bubbling.
- Add the oil, crushed cheese, and grated cheddar cheese.
- Using a spatula, start to mix the mixture by adding the flour. Stir until a sticky dough is obtained.
- Form balls the size of an egg and arrange them at a distance from each other in a tray lined with baking paper (if you do not have one, lightly grease the pan with oil and sprinkle with flour), the goal is not to stick. Wet your hands in warm water before shaping each ball so that the dough does not stick to them.
- In the middle of each shaped cheesy bread, stick a small cube of cold butter.
- Bake in a preheated 180-200 degree oven until golden brown.
- Leave the finished cheesy bread to cool for a few minutes, then they are ready to serve.
